Determine if the shipping expense, (including required insurance) AND IMPORT DUTIES will justify your purchase prior to creating an order with us.

If you request this in the customer notes during checkout,
it will be visible on the packing slip that will ship with your order.

Customs officials will have access to this request if the package is opened for inspection.

Every international order we ship will be correctly marked as Merchandise.
Brokerage fees, customs duty, and taxes are the customers responsibility.

This depends on the sending and receiving countries. As the country of origin is going to be the United States, you can contact your local Post and ask them. As the duty is based on the type and price of the merchandise being imported, they should be able to tell you the import fees and taxes, knowing the cost of your order.

I highly recommend you do this prior to placing an order with us so you have the knowledge prior to attempting to receive the order from your Post and being suprised.

ARTECH Return Policy for International Orders:

Custom Duties and Taxes are the sole responsibility of the Customer.

ARTECH will charge a 25% restocking fee:

Refusing to accept delivery of your ARTECH order by either UPS or your countries Postal Provider due to the requirement of paying fees associated with International Duties and Taxes will result in a 25% restocking fee by ARTECH

This restocking fee is not inclusive of any discounts applied to your order.

Consider this carefully prior to placing an international order.

Example: You order $500 USD worth of equipment, plus shipping.

You choose to have your order shipped via USPS Express Mail International Service.>
Your package arrives, but your countries postal service requires a $100 USD fee (Customs Duty and Taxes) to collect your package.

You refuse, and they return the package to us.

(When a foreign post is required to return an item due to refusal of delivery for any reason, they ship it the cheapest (i.e. Slowest) way possible. This means it will be shipped, literally, by sea freight and will take at least one month to arrive back to us at ARTECH.)

We will charge you a $500 x 25% = $125 USD restocking fee, which turns out to be more than the Customs Duty and Taxes, and you dont get your order!

Furthermore, if the current selling price of the product has changed when the item is returned to us, the refund amount will be based on that price.
