Made of rugged, high impact plastic. Full guards can be attached to Swix poles by removing yellow tab on top of pole and inserting male tab on guard. For use on other brand poles, this tab can be removed. Both full and half guards require shaft protectors for use on composite poles, which have a smaller diameter.
